Global Analytics Manager


Job Description



Working within the Global eCommerce team for an internationally dominant Consumer Goods giant, you will act as the data and insights specialist, who will contribute to the development of innovative digital solutions to ensure new growth opportunities and margin enhancement across all brands and categories within the division. You will be involved in the geographical expansion of the brands, and detailing what the cross-category functions will look like. An integral part of this position is working closely with Comms and Brand teams to understand the brands, the business challenges and opportunities to develop and raise the digital ceiling across multiple markets.


Apply data-driven techniques for digital marketing campaigns across markets and brands
Understand how a data strategy work within the overall Brand Communications Strategy
Partner with cross-functional teams to build big data solutions
Be a thought leader in the Data and Analytics space, by displaying detailed industry and cross-functional knowledge and participating in industry events and have an active voice in the marketplace
Define and develop a digital analytics approach that will cascade across the portfolio and ladder into overall Communication KPIs
Ensure the quality of data through regular data reviews and QA agency implementation
Drive innovation by staying current on emerging digital measurement tools, strategies and trends and generate POVs to cascade across the organization
Conduct analyses to evaluate effectiveness of big data marketing programs and lead creation of best practices
Work with data, analytics and measurement partners to consistently remain at the leading edge of data driven approaches
Own metrics gathering and drive process and evolution of standardized key metrics across group, generate and distribute reports or presentations
Candidate profile:

Successful marketing experience and skills gained in FMCG markets within a commercially oriented environment
Self-motivated, highly flexible and takes the initiative to do what’s needed
Internationally mobile
You are savvy and knowledgeable about current social media, eCRM trends, innovations and best practices. Minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience working at leading brand/agency, preferably global
Hands on experience being strategic and executional lead with data providers
Ability to simplify and communicate business impact of data and digital metrics such as viewability
Functions as a “go to” expert in one or several areas of analytics focus (paid, owned, earned, advanced analytics, ROI analyses, data driven communications); statistical background a plus (in addition to digital)
Strong track record of contributing to the new business process and growing teams
Strong track record of leading initiatives with positive business returns
Experience working across a number of different industry verticals and categories so that experience and wisdom can be called upon for strategic advantage
Savvy and knowledgeable about current trends, innovations and best practices. Ability to effectively translate implications for the company/brands
Strongly results oriented with demonstrable track record of success
Ability to handle ambiguity
